Known as the “City of Presidents, Quincy is the birthplace of two U.S. presidents – John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams— as well as John Hancock, a President of the Continental Congress and most well known as the first signer of the Declaration of Independence. First settled in 1625, Quincy was briefly part of Dorchester and Boston before becoming the north precinct of Braintree in 1640. In 1792, Quincy was split off from Braintree and Quincy became a city in 1888. For more than a century, Quincy was home to a thriving granite industry; the city was also the site of the Granite Railway, the United States’ first commercial railroad. Meet Captain Anthony
Captain Anthony has been fishing since he was a young man. Growing up in Maryland on the eastern shore where he found it passion for fishing and crabbing at a early age. I was determined to fish and develop my fishing techniques from all over the world. Out of college I was living in Maine and cooking at a local restaurant. This is where I got my taste of the hunt for Giant Bluefin Tuna. Harpooning and rod and reel fishing with some of Maine’s finest fisherman. He started his fishing career as an Orvis fly fishing guide out West in Montana and Nevada targeting wild trout on wild majestic rivers and streams. I then found a passion for blue water. Moving to US Virgin Islands he got his first job on a Buddy Davis sport fishing boat out of St Thomas. He instantly fell in love with offshore fishing. Catching Blue Marlin, wahoo, and other pelagic species. Captain Anthony then moved on and has been captaining boats around the world to places like Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Louisiana, New England, the Gulf of Mexico.Anthony has a great love and passion for fishing and the outdoors. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others whenever possible.
